My love for tennis is my key motivator. I have played tennis since I was 3 and I see tennis as much more than a career. The sport has taught me so much in life and passing that on is very important to me.
I am a firm believer that my enthusiasm for tennis comes from the family and community spirit club tennis can bring. ​
My passions lie with a combination of sport and business. My enjoyment of the competitive side for all sports, particularly golf and tennis has taught me a lot, which I have transferred to my work. This has driven me to expanding my knowledge of how great businesses thrive.
My biggest goal in life is to make tennis accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and pass on that feeling that I get when I walk into the clubhouse of a great sports club!

With a competitive playing background of 20 years, experience of coaching abroad in venues such as Dubai, Vale Do Lobo & Barcelona, Dean has developed a wealth of experience in the game.

Qualified through the Professional Tennis Registry, LTA, (BSc) Sports Development, DBS checked and approved first aider, Dean enjoys working at all levels from complete beginner, to county/regional performance.
​
Dean has represented his home club Northampon Lawn Tennis Club, and Men's Northants County Team at the highest level, and is a Wilson affiliated coach.

I have 12 years experience and am a PTR professional. I am currently LTA Accredited, DBS checked, First Aid trained and have an up to date Safeguarding certificate.
As a player, I am still solidly hovering around 5.0 NPTR rating at my advanced age but love the game and love teaching it.
I have two lovely daughters, Chloe and Sophie. As well as them, I love music, tennis and the ocean. I was born in Boston, raised in New York and am louder than any human being alive. Sometimes when I coach, people in the next town get free tennis lessons because they can hear me.

I am an LTA qualified level 2 coach, I have played tennis since I was a child as I was lucky enough to have access to courts within walking distance of my house.
I benefited from coaching as a child whereby i was taught the fundamentals of tennis, which has enabled me to progress to play competitive tennis and captain a team in the Northamptonshire leagues for over 5 years.
I enjoy passing on the knowledge I have in coaching. I am naturally competitive and energetic making it easy for me to motivate players to bring out the best of their abilities!

I intend to be a good assistant so I can help others achieve what they want to achieve. I want to become a better coach and achieve a higher coaching level.
